Street Art Tour
Let yourself be guided through the murals and creative energy of Parisian street art.
The 13th arrondissement of Paris is home to one of the most important street art routes in Europe. Far from the classic image of the monumental city, this neighbourhood has transformed in recent years into a true open-air museum.
The project was born from a collaboration between the town hall of the 13th arrondissement, the Galerie Itinerance and numerous international artists, with the aim of enhancing urban space through street art. The result is a sprawling itinerary that unfolds primarily along Boulevard Vincent-Auriol, Rue Jeanne d'Arc and the surrounding areas, characterised by tall residential buildings that serve as ideal canvases for large-format works.
Walking through the neighbourhood, you will encounter murals by some of the best-known names on the global urban art scene. Among them stand out Shepard Fairey (Obey), with his iconic images carrying a strong political message, and French artist C215, celebrated for his intense and realistic portraits. Works by artists such as Inti, D*Face, Cryptik, Conor Harrington and many others can also be found, each with a distinctive style that contributes to the visual richness of the route.
This open-air museum is in constant evolution. Some works are preserved over time, while others disappear to make way for new interventions, making every visit a unique experience. The street art route of the 13th arrondissement stands as a compelling example of how street art can contribute to urban regeneration and the spread of contemporary culture, transforming an everyday space into a place of encounter and reflection.
